Running for five consecutive weeks, from 28th February, this series of interactive webinars is led by renowned clinicians and technicians at the forefront of modern dentistry and features some of the highlights from one of the landmark clinical education events of 2023; the PEERS Summit.
PEERS is an independent, science and research led initiative covering Implants & Digital Lab, Endodontics, Orthodontics and CEREC® Digital Dentistry. Each PEERS network is led by a Clinical Board who for the 2023 PEERS Summit – which took place in London – curated a diverse and often unique topic programme featuring 27 sessions, and we’ve pulled together 5 of the best for our 2024 Watch Party Series. All sessions will be followed by in-depth discussions and lively Q&A debates.
The Watch Parties follow on from Dentsply Sirona’s highly successful ‘Decoding Digital Dentistry Watch Party’ series in 2022 and the ‘A Smile Is Born Watch Party’ from 2023 and still available On-Demand.
At the beginning of CAD/CAM chairside in the early 90s, there was only one feldspathic ceramic material available, the clinical indication was limited to inlays and partial crowns.
For the clinical CAD/CAM chairside application, meanwhile, we have a huge variety of different bloc materials available, glass ceramic, zirconium dioxide ceramic, hybrid ceramic, and composite blocs. These materials differ not only regarding strength but also regarding modulus of elasticity, resistance to degradation, resistance to abrasion, surface roughness, adhesive bonding, aesthetical appearance, polishability, and machinability by the milling unit.
All above mentioned aspects as well as different workflows and all clinical indications for tooth restorations will be discussed in the recorded presentation by Dr. Andreas Bindl. We will be joined by Dr. Simon Fieldhouse to moderate the session.
Aims and objectives:
Jon Cowie and Luca Moranzoni host this live webinar titled ‘The Magnificent Seven’ where they look at seven elements in their clinical workflow to enhance problem solving and workflow in modern, real-life endodontic practice. The presentation is a deeper dive into these elements following their short Pecha-Kucha presentation at PEERS Summit, London in November 2023.
Aims and objectives:
Join us for an insightful webinar on "Implant Abutment Selection and Long-Term Success: A Clinical Perspective," where two experienced clinicians will share their expertise on crucial aspects of implant abutment choices and workflow approach. Dr Asif Chatoo and Dr Owen Crotty present their arguments for choosing fixed or clear aligner solutions.
With clear aligners increasing in popularity as a socially acceptable choice for patients, when is a fixed or hybrid solution more appropriate and what factors do clinicians need to take into consideration when they evaluate a new case? Both SureSmile® experts, Dr Chatoo and Dr Crotty share their own cases to demonstrate their individual evaluation process and discuss how specific patient factors, influence their approach.
